Today was the first day of my internship with EduProfiles. It is a Canadian university and college review website for high school students. Right now, the company is in the startup stage and is looking to get some traffic on the site. As the website is just starting up, I am involved with all sorts of projects.
At our meeting today, we talked about the new features of the website that were added on a month ago. We navigated the site and thought of opportunities to expose our website. From this, we brainstormed some ideas and expanded on some that were already presented such as videos, social media and linking with other websites.
As a high school student, I believe this is a great opportunity for me as well as other students like myself. EduProfiles is quality website that helps students and even parents to prepare for university. It provides in-depth information on programs that you plan to apply for. These reviews are from previous and current students that give their firsthand opinion. If you are conflicted between two programs, EduProfiles will help influence the right decision for you.
